The Mandalorian Star Pedro Pascal Leaves Twitter Following Elon Musk Takeover

Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter shook the entire world of social media to its very core. However, under a month following the business magnate's takeover of the popular platform and it's already facing a ton of issues which led many, regular users and celebrities alike to hightail away from the microblogging site.

Last week, the company reportedly saw a mass resignation from longtime employees after Musk seized his position as Twitter's new owner, promising users to usher in "Twitter 2.0". On Thursday, the hashtag #RIPTwitter even became a hot topic online with users convinced that the platform is shutting down as developers have also exited the company.

Now, it appears that The Mandalorian actor Pedro Pascal has quietly left the platform and it is believed that Musk's ownership has something to do with it.

Fans quickly discovered that Pascal's official account with over 1 million followers was deactivated. The Chilean actor, who is an avid user of the platform also takes advantage of Twitter to interact with his followers and frequently airs his stance regarding various socio-political issues.

Naturally, Pascal's supporters weren't thrilled after learning about his shocking exodus. Check out some of the reactions below:

Earlier this month, controversial star Amber Heard also left Twitter and it immediately sparked speculation that Musk's ownership of the platform was the driving force behind it. Now, we're still not quite sure if all these are just coincidental or not but it's getting more and more clear that folks aren't happy with how Musk is doing business.

Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal will return in The Mandalorian Season 3 which is expected to hit Disney+ on February 22, 2023.
