The Mandalorian Star Gina Carano Continues to Mock Vaccines and Mail-In Votes

It has been no secret that The Mandalorian star Gina Carano has been pro-Trump, mocking vaccines and crying voter fraud. After all the online backlash though, Carano is still sticking to her opinion, and she continues to mock mail-in votes and the COVID-19 vaccine.

While Carano really is entitled to her own opinion, a lot of people think that this is an irresponsible use of her platform, with the anti-science stance as well as inciting further chaos with accusations of voter fraud. No doubt, while there are a lot of people who think Carano is in the wrong, there are still people who support her online and encourage her to speak up.

If anything, Lucasfilm or Disney don't seem to mind Carano's stance. With her possibly coming back for more episodes of The Mandalorian, they probably want to do their best to distance themselves from the whole issue and just have people focused on Cara Dune. Some suspect that they're actually fine that Carano is getting attention from the alt-right crowd because a good chunk of those people probably like Star Wars as well.

As for the fans, they should probably just do their best and separate the actor from the character. You can still like Cara Dune while not agreeing with Gina Carano. You'd think the #MeToo Movement has gotten people used to do this mental exercise.

Agree or disagree with Carano, you can check her out on the second season of The Mandalorian now on Disney+.
