It can't be denied that The Mandalorian gave MMA-fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano her breakout moment in terms of acting and considering she's relatively a newcomer in the entertainment scene, her character Cara Dune is easily one of the show's best bits. However, things aren't going that well with Gina's personal life and she has found herself dealing with critics regularly.

Of course, a lot of you already know the gist of things as we've covered Carano's controversial statements regarding socio-political issues. The Star Wars actress' stand on mail-in votes and her constant mockery of pro-vaxxers and mask users has earned Gina a ton of backlash from fans. The issue has become so intense that a lot of people are calling for her firing from Disney.

Even though Carano is constantly being "harassed" on social media, there are still people who choose to support her amid the controversies. One of them is veteran actor Carl Weathers who took to Twitter to personally express his admiration for his The Mandalorian co-star.

The Greef Karga actor commends Gina's work ethic and attitude and according to him, he had a wonderful time working with the controversial actress. He wrote: "So wonderful to have the opportunity to work with the beautiful Gina! She's making her way through a very demanding industry as an artist and craftsperson. And she's hitting so many of the right notes. Nothing but upside awaiting her! #GoGina #BePeace"

Gina has seemingly turned the dial down on her bashers as of late and instead of trying to fight fire with fire, it looks like the actress has chosen to accept the fact that not everyone will be able to see eye-to-eye on certain things. I guess this is the best way to go about things instead of throwing shade at your critics.

Carl Weathers and Gina Carano are expected to return for The Mandalorian's third season.
