The Mandalorian Season 3 is only a few weeks away before its premiere and you can best believe that Star Wars fans are beyond excited to witness the clash between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. If that wasn't thrilling enough, the upcoming season might also dive into the unanswered mystery from Season 2 surrounding Moff Gideon and Supreme Leader Snoke's potential connection.

To give you a refresher, the second season of the hit Star Wars spinoff show saw Gideon's cloning experiment and many were led to believe that he was trying to bring Snoke to life with the help of Grogu. Given the show's attention to detail and storytelling, there's a good chance that Gideon's master plan will be further explored in Season 3.

In an interview with Star Wars Meg, series mainstay Paul Sun-Hyung addressed the possibility of Snoke appearing in the show. Admittedly a fan of the divisive sequel trilogy flick The Last Jedi, Sun-Hyung said that while he has "insider knowledge", it's just for scenes that involve his character Captain Carson Teva.

The Kim's Convenience actor says: "As a fan, I speculate too. I'm in a weird sort of position because I'm actually in the show but I don't [know what happens]. Nobody tells me anything."

Well, considering the MandoVerse is meant to bridge the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, it's almost a no-brainer at this point to jump to the conclusion that The Mandalorian and the other shows for that matter will slowly plant the seeds for the sequel trilogy. Season 3 alone will see the return of Babu Frik to the franchise and that's already a massive giveaway of what's to come as the post-original trilogy universe expands.

The third season of The Mandalorian is hitting Disney+ on March 1st.
