In case you haven't heard yet, 2022 will finally mark the return of Star Wars Celebration after being put on hold for two consecutive years thanks to the pandemic. And by the looks of things, Disney and Lucasfilm will be making it up to the fandom big time during the spectacle. Taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center from May 26 to 29, the extravaganza is expected to feature several panels, including a Mandalorian-centric panel called Mando+.

Star Wars' official website announced that executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will be appearing at the Mando+ panel taking place on May 28th to discuss the past, present, and future of the hit Disney+ series. Of course, that includes some juicy information about the upcoming Season 3 which picks up where The Book of Boba Fett left off.

So far, we still don't know if lead star Pedro Pascal will be partaking in the said panel but stars Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Emily Swallow (The Armorer) will be joining the 3-day event and are expected to be guests during Mando+.

Considering Season 3 has already wrapped filming last month, it would be safe to assume that Favreau and Filoni will be releasing some footage during the exciting panel. A teaser-trailer doesn't, perhaps? Or maybe a sizzle reel? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

As it stands, The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to hit Disney+ later this year.
