The Mandalorian Season 3 Set Photos Confirm Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Connection

There is little doubt that there will be a lot of things to look forward to in The Mandalorian Season 3. In fact, there have been several theories about what could happen in the third season of the Disney+ series. But is it possible that there will be a major connection to the Skywalker Saga? A new set photo seems to confirm that the show is connected to the Star Wars sequel trilogy movies!

The new set photos were shared by Making Star Wars and it reveals that The Mandalorian Season 3 will feature more Stormtroopers. However, these guys are not just any regular troopers. The possible appearance of Sith troopers in The Mandalorian Season 3 is going to be an interesting idea considering that these red Stormtroopers were created by the First Order. Since the second season of the show already teased cloning facilities being used by the remnants of the Galactic Empire, we could see how the First Order quietly grew while the New Republic tried to keep the peace.

We're loving the idea of Sith troopers showing up in The Mandalorian Season 3. However, there is also a possibility that these are different Stormtroopers. After all, Star Wars has had several versions of Stormtroopers and some of them have worn red armor. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The Mandalorian Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the third season of the Star Wars series is already expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in late 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
