The Mandalorian Season 3: Katee Sackhoff Confirmed to Return as Bo-Katan Kryze

Star Wars Celebration is on its third day and we're getting some awesome updates on The Mandalorian Season 3. It has finally been confirmed that Katee Sackhoff will be back as Bo-Katan Kryze when the Star Wars series returns to Disney+ next year!

The confirmation was made during The Mandalorian's panel at Star Wars Celebration Day 3. The panel was attended by most of the cast and crew which included Katee Sackhoff. During the panel, it was announced that Sackhoff will continue to play Bo-Katan Kryze in the third season. Not surprisingly, the actress is proud to be part of the Star Wars series yet again.

“I’m still pinching myself that they trusted me to bring Bo-Katan into live-action,” Sackhoff said. It's best to remember that she provided the voice of the character in the animated shows.

This is welcome news considering that most fans felt like Bo-Katan Kryze didn't get enough screentime in the second season. However, it is still unclear whether the character will play a larger role in The Mandalorian Season 3. Hopefully, Bo-Katan gets to show off more of her fighting skills early next year. After all, there's a Darksaber that she is eager to be returned to Mandalore and we're hoping that she won't be giving up on the plan just yet.

Bo-Katan made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian. However, she isn't the only Star Wars Rebels character who will show up next year. It was also confirmed that Ahsoka will introduce Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, and Chopper. Needless to say, it's going to be an exciting year for Star Wars.

The Mandalorian Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the series is already expected to return with the third season on Disney+ in February 2023.
