Ahsoka Series Confirms Live-Action Debut of Star Wars Rebels Characters

It's official: The surviving members of the Ghost crew are making their live-action debut in Ahsoka! Some of the beloved Star Wars Rebels characters will be joining Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano when the spin-off series premieres next year!

The confirmation was made during Star Wars Celebration Day 3 where the sizzle reel for Ahsoka was shared. In the video, we get a glimpse at Hera Syndulla and Ezra Bridger along with Ahsoka Tano. There is also a quick shot featuring Sabine Wren.

Although these are the only Star Wars Rebels characters who appeared in the video, they are not the only members of the Ghost crew who will show up in the series. During their panel, Rosario Dawson walked out on stage along with Chopper, who is set to appear in the show as well.

In addition to all these awesome treats, Natasha Liu Bordizzo made an appearance at the panel where she was confirmed to play Sabine Wren. There were previous reports confirming that Bordizzo is joining the cast of Ahsoka. Although there were speculations that she will portray the Mandalorian in the series, the casting was not officially confirmed by Lucasfilm. Luckily, we can now look forward to Sabine's big live-action debut in 2023.

Unfortunately, the actors who will portray Hera and Ezra have not yet been announced. However, there is a possibility that the casting will finally be revealed later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Ahsoka is the second spin-off show led by a character who was originally introduced in The Mandalorian. Although Ahsoka has long appeared in the animated shows, she only made her live-action debut in the Star Wars series in 2020.

The Ahsoka series has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2023.
