I think we can all agree that the MandoVerse has given us some of the best Star Wars moments in recent memory. Between The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, the franchise hasn't skimped out on delivering fan service and if you thought that was it, this year won't be any different.

The Mandalorian
's upcoming third season as well as the standalone Ahsoka show top-billed by Rosario Dawson are both expected to feature surprises that will drop a lot of jaws. Apart from the rumored involvement of Star Wars Rebels characters like Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Grand Admiral Thrawn, it looks like another beloved character who has yet to make his live-action debut will become a MandoVerse mainstay.

YouTuber Star Wars Meg speculates that fan-favorite video game character Cal Kestis, who made his official Star Wars debut in 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order could appear in Season 3 of The Mandalorian to serve as Grogu's guide.

Cal will be making his return to the franchise in the acclaimed video game's sequel Star Wars Jedi: Surviror which is set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith. Assuming he "survives" the events of the new game, there's a good chance he'll still be alive during the MandoVerse timeline where he'd be in his mid-40s.

The character was rumored to be in Obi-Wan Kenobi but obviously, that didn't happen. Cameron Monaghan has constantly expressed his admiration for Star Wars' live-action shows and the idea of him getting cast as Cal Kestis is surely a no-brainer.

The only issue would be the character's age because obviously, Monaghan is only in his late 20s but we've seen Lucasfilm do wonders with their new technology so I guess it's still possible.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will premiere on March 1 exclusively on Disney+.
