After months of anticipation, EA finally gave fans a brand new look at the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor video game which marks the return of Cal Kestis. The sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will see the lead protagonist ascend to the ranks as a powerful Jedi Knight and naturally, aesthetic changes were made to the character.

Looking more mature and scruffier than the last time we saw him, Cal is generating quite the buzz online for his updated physical appearance. Shockingly enough, fans are thirsting over Cal who is now being referred to as "daddy" by the fandom. Check out some of the reactions below:

Interestingly, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is also set in the same year (9 BBY, to be exact) as the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and in case you weren't aware, there were persistent rumors suggesting that Cal nearly made an appearance in the polarizing show.

Of course, we don't know what the future holds for the character but depending on how successful the next game will be, it's safe to say that it will pretty much determine whether or not Kestis will make it to the live-action universe. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 17, 2023.
