The Mandalorian Season 2 has Star Wars Fans Debating the Helmet Code

There is little doubt that people are currently excited about the arrival of Bo-Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, it looks like the third episode of the Star Wars series has also sparked a debate about Mandalore code on keeping their helmets on.

In the first season of The Mandalorian, it was revealed that part of the Mandalorian code required everyone to keep their helmet on at any cost. In fact, Mando even risked death by refusing to have his helmet removed for a life-saving operation. However, it looks like the code isn't as strict as it should be.

In Chapter 11: The Heiress, Mando and Baby Yoda are rescued by Bo-Katan Kryze and her companions who immediately removed their helmets to introduce themselves to him. Not surprisingly, the move instantly made Mando distrust them but it is quickly explained that the Mandalorians who raised him are part of a breakaway sect that is separate from mainstream Mandalorian society.

Although this seems like an acceptable explanation, Star Wars fans have started debating about the Mandalorian helmet code. While others stand by Mando and the code he follows, most fans took Bo-Katan's side.

Of course, it is important to note that both sides have their reasons. On a lighter note, this could mean we'll get to learn more about the Mandalorians who have been hiding in Tatooine in the upcoming episodes.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3 is now available for streaming on Disney+.
