People are still trying to process what happened in the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 but some are already looking forward to what could happen next week. So what can we expect in Episode 7? As suggested by the conclusion of Chapter 14: The Tragedy, one particular character from the first season will be returning and that could mean his friends will be coming back as well.

Things happen pretty quickly in Chapter 14: The Tragedy as Mando and Baby Yoda head for the Jedi Temple on Tython and try to find someone who could train Grogu. The call is answered by Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, who isn't there to give The Child some Jedi training; they want Boba's armor back. Mando agrees to hand over the armor in exchange for Baby Yoda's safety which is immediately treated by the arrival of Moff Gideon's troops.
When Grogu is taken, Mando gets Boba and Fennec to join him in bringing The Child back. Mando then reaches out to Cara Dune to help get someone out of prison: the former Imperial sharpshooter turned mercenary Mayfeld, who was last seen being locked away by the New Republic.
Mayfeld's return is set to be an interesting one considering that he was locked up with his companions Xi'an and Burg. This could mean that all three criminals will play a major role in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7. Can they actually be trusted to help Mando? We'll find out next week.
