The Mandalorian Season 2 Easter Egg Teased on Thrawn's Plans

One of the greatest things about the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 is the jaw-dropping mention of Grand Admiral Thrawn. However, the namedrop wasn't the only thing that connected the Star Wars series to the villain. Chapter 13: The Jedi actually had an Easter Egg that could be a tease at what fans can look forward to in a possible Thrawn standalone project.

In The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5, Ahsoka Tano was trying to get to the Magistrate in the city of Calodan so she could get the location of the latter's master. It was then revealed that the Magistrate's master was actually Thrawn.

Interestingly, there was already a clue on the Magistrate's connection to Thrawn much earlier in the episode. Check it out below.

There is little doubt that the markings of the Seventh Fleet meant that Thrawn's Fleet is still out there somewhere and could soon be brought into live-action. After all, there have already been reports that a Thrawn standalone series is being planned for Disney+.

So does this mean we'll be seeing Thrawn and the Seventh Fleet in The Mandalorian Season 2? There are speculations that the character will be introduced in the series before the spin-off is announced. Needless to say, we could soon get an awesome update about the new Star Wars show.

Did you notice the Seventh Fleet markings on the HK-87 assassin droids? Are you already looking forward to the Thrawn series? Sound off in the comments below.
