The fifth episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 confirmed that Baby Yoda was a youngling who was well on his way to becoming a Padawan before everything fell apart with the rise of the Empire. Nevertheless, the Star Wars series also offered hope on the possibility that someone will eventually come forward to train The Child. But what are the chances that it could be someone who has already been looking for children to train in Jedi: Fallen Order?
In The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5, Ahsoka Tano was the one who confirmed that Baby Yoda aka Grogu is a former youngling who had lost his connection to the Force as he suppressed his powers and let fear and anger grow in him.
Although she could have helped and trained The Child, Ahsoka refuses to do so, stating that Mando and Baby Yoda can find another Jedi through the Jedi Temple on the planet Tython.
So is it possible that the one who will hear Baby Yoda's call from the Jedi Temple will be someone who has been trying to find Force-sensitive children at around the same time Grogu went into hiding? Some believe that it could be time for Cal Kestis to cross over into live-action and fulfill his mission in Fallen Order.
In the game, Cal works with fellow Jedi Cere Junda in the plan to find children who are Force-sensitive and train them as Jedi. However, they would soon realize that it would be too dangerous for the children and abandoned the plan.
But is it time for Cal to do as promised now that the Empire has fallen? Although we like the idea of Cal showing up in The Mandalorian, it's important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it is best to take this with a grain of salt.
