The Mandalorian Panel Confirmed For Star Wars Celebration; Is A Trailer At Hand?

It looks like Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to next month. Not only are we expecting to see the very first teaser trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX drop during this year's Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, but now we're also expecting all sorts of things from The Mandalorian panel at the convention.

Lucasfilm just recently confirmed that they'd be putting up a panel for Jon Favreau's new Star Wars series, allowing fans to learn more about the treacherous world of The Mandalorian. The announcement was recently posted on the official Star Wars website, indicating that a special panel discussion for the Disney+ series would be held at Star Wars Celebration on Sunday, April 14, at 11 am. The panel will be held live at the Celebration Stage and will be presented simulateously at the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.

There's a lot of hype building up over The Mandalorian. Produced by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, the series brings in a slew of great episode directors including Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard, and Star Wars Rebels showrunner Dave Filoni.

Starring Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal, The Mandalorian will take fans to the fringes of the outer rim. Set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, the series will follow the adventures of a lone gunfighter (played by Pascal).

Ever since the series' announcement Favreau has been dropping hints and teases. Now we're hoping that the filmmaker drops a new trailer for the show at this year's Star Wars Celebration.
