Star Wars fans were upset after rumors circulated all over the internet that production for the third season of The Mandalorian may have been halted. Multiple sources claim that the upcoming standalone Obi-Wan Kenobi show which began filming during the scheduled production start date of The Mandalorian Season 3 may have been responsible for the delay while others claim that Pedro Pascal's packed schedule is to blame.

As it stands, we still don't have any updates regarding Season 3's production but a new leak suggests that we'll still get ourselves some Mando goodness early next year. A new listing from Edelweiss+ promotes an upcoming "Screen Comix" graphic novel revolving around Star Wars' famed bounty hunter Boba Fett. The said endorsement may have been made public intentionally and states that The Mandalorian Season 3 will make its debut sometime in Spring 2022.

The leak sure sounds promising but Lucasfilm has yet to confirm the authenticity of the said listing and as of writing, we're still clueless as to when exactly the series will begin filming its highly-anticipated third season. Considering the Star Wars franchise is currently built on the Mandoverse, fans have all the reason in the world to clamor for The Mandalorian Season 3's premiere.

However, the conspicuous lack of updates regarding the series makes you think that there's more to the delay than just the production being pushed back due to another project. Hopefully, we'll get ourselves some much-needed advisory in the coming days.

Meanwhile, all episodes of The Mandalorian are available for streaming on Disney+.
