Warning: If you haven't seen Chapter 22 of The Mandalorian, this article contains MAJOR SPOILERS so read at your own risk!

The previous episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 dropped a massive twist, revealing that Bo-Katan Kryze is the "chosen one" to usher in a new age for Mandalore. However, as big of a moment as that was, Chapter 22 may have just topped that mind-blowing change of course.

You see, the last few episodes of the hit Star Wars series have made it crystal clear that Bo-Katan could in fact be the one who will bring Mandalore back to its former glory but there's one problem — the Darksaber still belongs to Din Djarin and according to the lore, only the person who wields the mythical blade has the right to rule Mandalore.

Bo-Katan did attempt to win the weapon from Mando but to no avail. Still, The Armorer anointed her as the successor to the throne because she "walks both worlds", disregarding everything we thought we knew about the so-called Mandalorian prophecy.

Over the past week, there's been chatter about Chapter 21's bewildering twist. Well, Episode 6 just ended the discourse as it solidified Bo-Katan's place as the next leader of Mandalore. During the closing moments of "Guns for Hire", Mando explains that Bo-Katan is actually the rightful owner of the Darksaber.

According to him, the moment Bo-Katan vanquished the mechanical creature who captured Din in the Mines of Mandalore during Chapter 18, it automatically made her worthy of wielding the Darksaber once more. It later leads to him handing over the weapon to Bo who willingly accepts.

Understandably, the massive revelation left fans quite stunned and most of them don't know what to make of it.

Din's game-changing decision may be deemed questionable by many but let's be real here, he was never interested in becoming Mandalore's ruler and if anything, he was only after his own redemption and becoming a Mandalorian again.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 is now streaming on Disney+.
