Bo-Katan Kryze's allies have been conspicuous by their absence since the start of The Mandalorian Season 3. Serving as supporting characters in the previous season, the Nite Owls were prominently featured in the series which gave fans a hint that they'll somehow return in some capacity, despite Koska Reeves actress Mercedes Varnado's claims that she wasn't reprising her role.
Well, we can now confirm that Mercedes was just playing coy all along because Chapter 22 of the hit Star Wars series marked the return of the mercenaries, who now operate as Mandalorian privateers on the planet Plazir-15. Turns out, after Bo-Katan failed to obtain the Darksaber from Din Djarin during battle, Axe Woves assumed the position of the group's leader while Bo-Katan stayed in Kalevala.
Woves, Reeves, and their group of privateers would find a great deal of success serving the planet's rulers, Duchess and Captain Bombardier.
During the latter part of the episode, Bo-Katan tried to convince her ex-comrades to join their cause and reunite to bring Mandalore back to its former glory. Although hesitant at first, Kryze was able to win their trust back after defeating Woves and being awarded the Darksaber by Din.

After being presented as nothing more than side characters in Season 2, it's quite refreshing to see them come into their own, especially Axe who displayed a ton of personality the previous season didn't show.
Meanwhile, now that all Mandalorians have seemingly been united, it'll be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks, given how we're down to our last two episodes. Also, the mystery surrounding the group of Mandalorians who helped Moff Gideon escape has yet to be answered.
