Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have big plans for the MandoVerse and if it wasn't obvious enough, The Mandalorian has slowly been planting the seeds for Star Wars Rebels characters to appear in the live-action universe. Over the last couple of months, we've pretty much confirmed that key characters from the hit animated series will be crossing to the MandoVerse soon.

This includes the fan-favorite Sabine Wren who is expected to show up in the standalone Ahsoka series. However, some fans insist that they've actually spotted Sabine in The Mandalorian Season 3's official trailer and it sparked major speculation surrounding the character's potential involvement in the show.

This week's episode, titled "The Pirate" was included in the show's official trailer where Sabine was allegedly seen. Chapter 21 sees the Mandalorians rescue Nevarro from Gorian Shard who attempts to rule the planet. During their grueling battle with Shard's army of pirates, a figure who bears striking resemblance to Sabine was seen in action.

The Mandalorian in question's armor even shares the same color scheme as the fan-favorite Rebels character so it isn't that surprising how fans thought it was actually Sabine. Well, after seeing the episode, we can officially confirm that it's not her.

Interestingly, Chapter 21 still teased Sabine's arrival as Bo-Katan is set to unite all Mandalorians, including those who are in exile according to the Armorer. Obviously, this includes Kryze's Season 2 allies Axe Woves and Koska Reeves, and hopefully, Sabine is also part of the pack.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 is now streaming on Disney+.
