Warning: If you haven't seen Chapter 21 of The Mandalorian, this article contains MAJOR SPOILERS so read at your own risk!

The Mandalorian continues to plant the seeds for the anticipated live-action crossover of some of the animated universe's most beloved characters. For the uninitiated, the MandoVerse basically serves as the continuation of Star Wars Rebels with Season 2 confirming the arrival of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Aside from the menacing villain, characters like Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Ezra Bridger were all later confirmed to be making appearances in upcoming shows.

Unsurprisingly, the trend continues. In Chapter 20 titled "The Pirate", a familiar figure appeared during the scene where Captain Teva receives a transmission from Greef Karga. The High Magistrate requested help from Teva after Nevarro was invaded by Pirate King Gorian Shard and his minions.

The character in question is none other than Garazeb Orrelios, a Lasat honor guard who was a main fixture in Star Wars Rebels. After overhearing Greef's plea for help, Zeb chimes in casting doubt on what the New Republic can do for the situation.

And if you needed further proof that it was actually him, Zeb is featured on the episode's end credits played by Steve Blum, the same actor who voiced the character in Rebels. Now, how's that for a full-circle moment?

Although Zeb was only featured for a couple of seconds, his surprising appearance in The Mandalorian Season 3 is quite indicative of the show's future. Now, whether or not we'll actually see the likes of Sabine, Hera, Ezra, and Thrawn in The Mandalorian remains to be seen but if not, their respective debuts are all happening this year.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 is now streaming on Disney+.
