Warning: If you haven't seen the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 yet, this news contains major spoilers so read at your own risk!

We've proven in the past that Din Djarin will go to extreme lengths just to ensure the safety of Grogu aka The Child but the latest episode of The Mandalorian pretty much solidifies the fact that Mando is indeed willing to do anything and everything for the Force-wielding creature, even if it means setting aside his code and ideals.

Throughout the course of the hit Star Wars spinoff series, Mando has been a firm believer of the so-called Mandalorian creed, and although he's (technically) broken it on one occasion, taking off his helmet in front of the droid IG-11 during Season 1's epic finale, he's been pretty consistent with honoring the creed for the most part.

That all changes in Chapter 15 as Mando finally exposed himself, completely "dishonoring" his code. To his credit, he tried his best to avoid any circumstance that would put him in a situation to break the creed earlier in the episode. When he teamed up with Migs Mayfeld to enter the Imperial base located on Morak, instead of exposing himself, he wore a tank trooper uniform which still protected his identity. However, Djarin was ultimately forced to remove his helmet in front of troopers, Imperial commanders, and Mayfeld himself when he was looking to retrieve the information he needed to locate Moff Gideon and the light cruiser.

It's still unclear why Din resorted to removing his helmet and exposing his identity when he could've just forced Mayfeld to do the work for him. Something tells me that his encounter with Bo-Katan may have changed his views regarding the Mandalorian creed which according to Katan was pretty much non-existent. Again, this just goes to show that Mando is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the well-being of Baby Yoda and that's pretty touching, I gotta say.

The final episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 airs exclusively on Disney+ next Friday.
