The Mandalorian's Chapter 15 Sees Former Villain's Stunning Heroic Turn

Warning: If you haven't seen the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 yet, this news contains major spoilers so read at your own risk!

Chapter 15 of The Mandalorian may not have been as intense as the previous episode, but it still delivered all the goodies to please every Star Wars fan in existence. "The Believer" saw the not-so-shocking return of guest star Bill Burr as Migs Mayfeld. I say that, of course, because his comeback was already teased in Chapter 14where it was suggested that he'd play a vital role in saving Grogu aka Baby Yoda.

However, given his history of being a treacherous individual (as we all witnessed in Season 1), there was definitely uncertainty in the air amongst fans whether Mayfeld would cooperate and be trusted or end up betraying Din Djarin the second time around. Turns out, the smug ex-Imperial sharpshooter has changed his ways and he made true to his promise of helping Mando in his latest mission. He's a man of his word after all. After Djarin successfully obtained all the information needed to locate the whereabouts of Moff Gideon and the Galactic Empire, Mayfeld was ultimately rewarded by Cara Dune with his freedom and it's quite refreshing to see a once villainous person make a heroic turn and it made the episode more compelling.

Bill Burr's return to the franchise is a welcome one and it's amazing to see how he experienced such drastic character development in a span of just one episode. It makes me sad though that he had to part ways with Mando and his crew but hey, we can still expect him to pop up in the future, right?

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
