A lot of fans are already missing The Mandalorian's Force-wielding fellow Grogu aka Baby Yoda (yes, we're still going to call him that) but his future in the hit Star Wars series seems to be in doubt now that he's left Din Djarin to train with Luke Skywalker. There's been huge speculation that Season 3 won't revolve around The Child so we may have to wait a little longer to see him reunite with his former partner/mentor.

There's no doubt that Grogu will instantly master the ways to the Force now that he's under the tutelage of Skywalker who is willing to do everything in his power to guide the creature. We don't know how everything plays out but what if Grogu returned to The Mandalorian as a skilled Jedi wielding his own lightsaber just like the great Master Yoda?

A new fan art imagines that possibility. Digital artist ScaryIsGood (via @starwarsdaily on Instagram) unveiled his epic concert artwork for Grogu's very own lightsaber and it's looking pretty neat. Judging by it's built and overall look, there's no doubt that it's made out of pure beskar, and not only that, but it also features the circular gear part from the Razor's Crest Baby Yoda liked to play with. Check it out here:

As much as I love the little green guy, I honestly wouldn't mind not seeing Baby Yoda in Season 3 so Din Djarin could finally take the spotlight. I feel like he's often been sidetracked due to The Child's extreme popularity and now's the time The Mandalorian got what he deserved. Plus, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni seem to tease that the third season will revolve around the battle for the Mandalore throne between Mando and Bo-Katan Kryze so just focus on that in the meantime.

All episodes of The Mandalorian are up on Disney+.
