Given the massive success and popularity of The Mandalorian, there's no doubt that Star Wars fan would kill to attend a meet and greet event with Mando and The Child. Although there might have been a tinge of hope that this event is in the works soon, Disney Parks has confirmed that it won't be happening yet.
Reports about a meet and greet event with the characters have gone around which revealed that Disney is allegedly planning to do one soon. Lucasfilm senior vice president of licensing, Paul Southern, recently spoke with In The Know saying that "it's important" for their park guests to be able to meet all the "key characters on a first-hand, personal basis." He then allegedly said it's something that they are working on which guests should look forward to in the "very near future."
However, Disney Parks has confirmed that the original quote about the meet and greets were inaccurate and that those character experiences aren't yet in the works as of the moment.
Although it is a pretty cool idea and that it would certainly attract a lot of park guests, unfortunately, Disney is yet to make this idea happen. While it isn't in the works at the moment, there's no reason to lose hope because there's still a chance that the House of Mouse would finally start a meet and greet event with Mando and Baby Yoda in the future.
