A new featurette has been dropped for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and the behind-the-scenes footage provides the showrunners and actors teasing what is ahead of everyone in the upcoming Amazon Prime series talking about the story of Middle-Earth.

Patrick McKay and JD Payne, showrunners of The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, and the stars of the series share about what will be happening in the show such as when it is set, when the Nine Rings have been forged, and when the Last Alliance of Men and Elves have been formed.

In the featurette, Patrick McKay shared, "The Second Age is the great unfilmed story in Tolkien's entire legendarium, with the forging of the rings and the Last Alliance, and we felt that that was the story that deserved to be told."

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will delve into the story of Sauron in the Second Age of Middle Earth where he was sought to corrupt the Elves by pretending to be the Lord of Gifts, Annatar, and he instructs particular Elven smiths to craft Rings, forging nineteen.

Wanting to bind the Elves, Sauron went to Mount Doom and made One Ring in secrecy. Those who has the Three felt it when Sauron wore it and they hid theirs, causing a search that would lead to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power would star Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Sir Lenny Henry, Owain Artur, Maxim Baldry, Robert Amarayo, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, Nazanin Boniadi, and Morfydd Clark.

Othe cast members of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power include Trystan Gravelle, Joseph Mawle, Tyroe Muhafidin, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Sophia Nomvete, Lloyd Owen, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Sara Zwangobani, Benjamin Walker, and Daniel Weyman.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on September 2 on Amazon Prime Video.
