The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power TV series is coming to Amazon Prime Video this year, but fans still have a lot of questions about the show's narrative and how it will connect to the other parts of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-Earth adventures. Set during the Second Age, the show charts the rise of Sauron, the Dark Lord who manipulates the beings of Middle-Earth to hatch plans to sow chaos and bend the world to his will. Amazon recently revealed the names of the characters that will be featured in the epic fantasy series.
While some of The Lord of the Rings characters will already be familiar to fans, given the casting details that had been shared months ago, the rest of the main cast have now been introduced to us.

Amazon recently unveiled posters for the series that featured close-up images of characters' hands. The first trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is expected to premiere during Super Bown LVI, on Sunday, Feb. 13.
