The Last of Us Episode 5 Images Introduce Henry and Sam

We are getting The Last of Us Episode 5 early this week and HBO is hyping up the next episode by dropping promo images from Endure and Survive. Although some of the pictures feature Joel and Ellie and new antagonists Kathleen and Perry, people are loving the photos featuring the awesome new duo Sam and Henry.

In the previous episode, Henry was repeatedly namedropped by Kathleen before he and his younger brother finally showed up at the last moment. For non-gamers, the duo's appearance was a surprise considering that Kathleen was painting Henry as a violent man but he and Sam actually look harmless despite holding Joel and Ellie at gunpoint.

The new images from The Last of Us Episode 5 were shared by WarnerMedia and offer a better look at Henry and Sam. The characters, played by Lamar Johnson and Keivonn Montreal Woodard, respectively, appear to have a strong bond. Moreover, fans can't get over how tiny Sam is in the pictures.

Sam and Henry are certainly a great addition to The Last of Us and we're happy to get to know them better in Episode 5. Still, their arrival has certain implications in the show so viewers better be prepared for the worst this Friday.

The Last of Us Episode 4 introduced Kathleen, the leader of the revolutionary movement in Kansas City who is hellbent on capturing Henry. Although it is not confirmed in the episode, it is suggested that Kathleen believes Henry is responsible for the brutal death of her brother. Hopefully, the truth will finally be revealed this week.

The Last of Us Episode 5 is titled Endure and Survive. It is set to be released on HBO Max early to avoid conflicts with the Super Bowl, which will air on Sunday night. The episode will premiere on the streaming service on Friday, February 10, 2023.
