KBS2’s Kdrama The King’s Affection is currently dominating the Monday-Tuesday evening time slot as SBS Lovers of the Red Sky already ended last week, as well as tvN’s High Class.

Now that The King’s Affection is the only Kdrama airing on the Monday-Tuesday evening time slot, the series has taken over with a nationwide viewership rating of 7.6%. This is a 0.6% rise from the previous episode ratings of 7%.

The King’s Affection Plot And Storyline

The KBS2 Kdrama The King’s Affection takes place during the Joseon Dynasty. The series tells the story of when having twins is a bad omen.

To avoid such bad events to happen in the palace, the daughter was sent out and hid by the Crown Princess.

Lee Hwi, the twin son, dies a few years later. To hide the Crown Prince’s death, the daughter was brought back to the palace to live as Lee Hwi.

Despite her attempts to isolate herself from everyone, she begins to develop romantic emotions for the royal family’s teacher, Jung Ji Woon.
