The Killer’s Shopping List will finally mark Lee Kwang Soo and Seolhyun’s first drama together.
Based on Kang Ji Young’s novel, the upcoming tvN series follows the story of Lee Kwang Soo and Seolhyun’s characters as they search for the murderer in the drama.
The murder case occurs on the outskirts of Seoul, and a supermarket receipt becomes the evidence.
Lee Kwang Soo plays Ahn Dae Sung’s role, a part-time worker at MS Mart who has an excellent memory. His girlfriend, Seolhyun’s Do Ah Hee, works as a police officer.
Before its premiere, the two stars recently held a press conference and shared more details about the comedy thriller.

Lee Kwang Soo Is Back on The Killer’s Shopping List
After four years, Lee Kwang Soo will officially come back on the small screen through The Killer’s Shopping List. He last appeared in the drama Live before becoming part of the films Sinkhole and The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure.
On Monday, the former Running Man star and Seolhyun held a press conference on Monday (via The Korea Times) and shared more thoughts about the series.

According to Lee Kwang Soo, he fell in love with the project while making it. He also told the crowd that he thought he would never get a chance to play an attractive role if he did not accept the chance.
"Dae-sung is interested in everything and every person around him. He likes them. In that aspect, I and Dae-sung are very alike. But I tried to be a more friendly and familiar man that you can meet at your neighborhood,” he said.
Lee Kwang Soo added that his character is a nosy person with boy-next-door visuals. In addition, Ahn Dae Sung has the capacity to memorize the details about their regulars at MS Mart.
AOA Seolhyun Challenged Herself To Play Do Ah Hee Role
Since the series is a comedy-thriller, Seolhyun reportedly worked hard to look funnier in The Killer’s Shopping List.
"There are so many comical situations in the script, and I just tried to present my character in the way that the script depicts," she said. "And the longtime friendship with Lee Kwang-soo helped me create the larger-than-expected on-screen chemistry in the show."
The K-pop star is no longer new to series and films . She has already become part of several sets, including Gangnam Blues, Memoir of a Murderer, The Great Battle, My Daughter Seo-Young Orang Marmalage, My Country: The New Age, and Awaken.
Director Lee Eon Hee concluded the interview, saying that she originally designed The Killer’s Shopping List to be a two-hour film.
After thinking over it again, she decided to make The Killer’s Shopping List a series, and it will air the first episode on Wednesday.
