Kim Woo Seok is growing to become one of the most sought-after idol/actor of his generation.
Before becoming a well-known idol/actor, Kim Woo Seok worked full-time in the music industry. He first appeared in UP10TION’s pre-debut show, Masked Rookie King UP10TION, and became the first member to be introduced.
He then debuted with the group in 2015.
Years later, he decided to try his luck and joined Produce X 101 with his fellow UP10TION member, Lee Jin Hyuk. After securing second place in the final episode, he debuted with X1 before becoming a soloist and an actor.
Now that he is more famous than ever, he received an interesting question about his visuals.

Kim Woo Seok Shares What Looking in Mirror Means to Him
During his interview with Allure Korea following a photoshoot, Kim Woo Seok was asked how often he looks at himself in a mirror.
According to the Bulgasal star, he ends up not looking in a mirror, especially when he is at home. He then explains that what he looks like at home is a picture that no one knows. Since his face is one that he knows as one of his best features, he explained that he has no reason to look at himself in a mirror that often.

“Whenever I film a drama, appear on a music show, or do a photo shoot like this, it’s a cycle of checking myself on the screen and reworking things to get a better result. The final product that people see is the result of the screen, not the mirror,” he went on.
Kim Woo Seok then compared seeing himself in a mirror and on the screen. Per the idol, he sees his true self whenever he looks in a mirror. Meanwhile, the person on the screen is the one he wants to show and introduce to people.
Bulgasal Directors Says He Likes Kim Woo Seok’s Eyes
Elsewhere in the interview, Kim Woo Seok shared how the Bulgasal director once complimented him because of his eyes, saying that the body parts are his strong point.
Allure Korea asked him to explain the K-drama director’s comment about his eyes. The idol then added, “He said that my eyes conveyed a lot of sadness and that it seemed like a lot of things could be expressed through them.”
Kim Woo Seok famously played the role of Nam Do Yoon in Bulgasal, and it served as his first TV series role.
Although he has not updated fans about his potential TV appearance, he already offered new music to them last month – his third EP, 3rd Desire (Reve).
