The Killer's Shopping List continues to hype fans with more materials ahead of the K-drama’s release.
Based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young, The Killer's Shopping List tells the story of a murder case on the outskirts of Seoul. A supermarket receipt becomes the evidence as the cast members start a hilarious hunt for the suspect.
Former Running Man star Lee Kwang Soo will play Dae Sung’s role, a part-time worker at MS Mart who has an excellent memory. His girlfriend, Seol Hyun’s A Hee, works as a police officer. The two characters then join forces to solve the mysterious murder case.

Before the premiere of the tvN K-drama, it dropped its main poster featuring the three main characters.
Lee Kwang Soo’s Ahn Dae Sung sits in a shopping cart full of groceries while showing off a long receipt. The Prince of Asia also sports his notable shocked expression that hints about the horrifying case in the drama.

Standing behind him are AOA’s Seolhyun and Jin Hee Kyung, and the trio look at the camera as if they warn the viewers about The Killer's Shopping List’s turn of events.
The new comedy-thriller flick will premiere on April 27, and it will also feature other award-winning cast members like Shin Sung Woo, Jang Won Young, Moon Hee Kyung, Kim Mi Hwa, Park Ji Bin, Ryu Yeon Seok, Lee Kyo Yeob, Oh Hye Won, and Bae Myung Jin.
gugudan’s former member, Jo Aram, has also been confirmed to join the team.
What To Expect From The Killer's Shopping List
Director Lee Eon Hee previously shared what people should look forward to about the drama. The filmmaker said that people would surely be reminded of their local supermarkets once they see the movie.
“As I started this drama, I started paying more attention to local supermarkets. The drama contains events that could happen at any of your corner supermarkets. That’s why families, friends, everyone can watch it together and relate to it in a meaningful way,” she said.
She added that the supermarket would play a huge role in the series as it is where the murderer buys his murder weapon.
Fans will have a better understanding of the director’s plans once the series finally arrives.
