The Glory Episode 3 Recap: Moon Dong Eun Visits Abusive Teacher, Reveals His Past Actions

Song Hye Kyo’s new K-drama on Netflix, The Glory, is currently available on the platform.

Writer Kim Eun Sook and director Ahn Gil Ho worked together to create the first season of The Glory. The drama explores the life of a former school violence victim who starts seeking revenge on her bullies. She studies to become a homeroom teacher until she starts her work as a homeroom adviser to one of the school bullies’ child.

Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun lead the drama. Other cast members include Lim Ji Yeon, Shin Ye Eun, Yeom Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, Song Byeong Geun, Jung Sung Il, Cha Joo Young, Kim Hi-Eora, Bae Kang Hee, Kim Gun Woo, and Seo Woo Hyuk.

Netflix formally announced that the drama’s season 2 would be released this year.

The Glory Episode 3 Recap

Moon Dong Eun asks what could have been the difference if someone had helped her in the past while witnessing Kang Hyeong Nam (Yum Hye Ran) get beaten up by her husband. To save her, her daughter Sun-A wants to stab her father to stop him from abusing her mother.

She eventually meets Kang Hyeong Nam and gives her information about Lee Seok Jae. For the first step, the matriarch has to learn how to drive while Moon Dong Eun teaches Sun-A. She also needs to capture photos of the perpetrators who bullied Moon Dong Eun.

Joo Yeo Jeong recovers and gets back to his internship at a hospital. He remembers Moon Dong Eun whom he has not seen for years after teaching her Go.

Park Yeon Jin seemingly hides something about her daughter, Ye Sol, that piques Moon Dong Eun’s interest. On the other hand, Ha Do Yeong sees Moon Dong Eun as she plays the board game and immediately gets interested in her.

While on her way to tutor Sun-A, she bumps into Joo Yeo Jeong and catches up with him.

Although she has a long way to go, Moon Dong Eun seemingly opens up to Joo Yeo Jeong. But she reminds herself of her plans again.

She eventually visits Kim Jong Moon, the teacher at Sunghan High School who slapped her repeatedly when she dropped out instead of helping her in the violence case. It turns out that he is the father of her colleague, leaving the teacher in deep shock.

Moon Dong Eun reveals to Son Myeong O that Yoon Soo Hee, the girl who used to be bullied before her, was killed. Although she is working with him, she still plots revenge on him.

When the bullies gather in the school gym, Moon Dong Eun finally appears in front of them. She also starts working as the homeroom teacher of Park Yeon Jin’s daughter.
