Tiffany Young is ready to spend more time as an actress and idol by signing with Sublime.

Since debuting as a member of the popular girl group SNSD, or Girls Generation, Tiffany Young stayed with SM Entertainment until her departure in October 2017. Although she is still part of the group, she started focusing on her solo career and pursuing acting when she moved back to Los Angeles.

She finally landed a role in June 2021 when she was tapped to play a supporting role in JTBCk-drama Reborn Rich.

Before 2022 ends, Tiffany Young found a new home and signed with a new Korean agency for the first time after leaving SM Entertainment.

Tiffany Young Is Now Sublime Artist

Five years after leaving SM Entertainment, Tiffany Young formally sealed the deal with Sublime Artist Agency. The company announced the news in a press release on Dec. 26.

According to the agency, the idol-turned-actress signed an exclusive contract with it this year.

“We are sincerely delighted to be able to work together with Tiffany Young, who has limitless influence,” the agency said, according to The Korea Herald. “We will actively support her so that she can exert that influence in a wide variety of fields in the future. We will also be unsparing in our support of her global activities.”

Tiffany Young became the latest addition to the company’s artists. Currently, Sublime Artist Agency is home to Rain, GOT7 Jackson and Youngjae, Song Kang Ho, Yein, Yerin, Hani, and Lim Nayoung.

Tiffany Young Tapped To Appear in New Survival Program

Before signing a contract with Sublime, multiple news outlets confirmed that the female idol would join a number of idols as the judges in the upcoming JTBC idol survival program, Peak Time.

Aside from the SNSD member, Highlight’s Kikwang and SM Entertainment performance director Shim Jae Won will be the judges under the dance category. The show also welcomed Super Junior Kyuhyun and INFINITE’s Sunggyu as judges in the vocal category.

Meanwhile, Jay Park and WINNER’s Song Minho will be responsible for the rap category.

Producer Ryan S. Jhun completed the judging panel.

Peak Time serves as a survival program with debut experience. The series will pick several hopefuls to create a world-class idol group.
