The Gifted Season 2 Trailer Released at Comic-Con

Fox has revealed the trailer for The Gifted Season 2 during its Comic-Con panel at Ballroom 20. Called "Dawn Of A New Mutant Age," the 20th Century Fox Television/Marvel show is set after the explosion of the Atlanta Station.


This new trailer features the mutants unleashing their cool powers, and I love seeing the Magneto's daughter, Polaris, who's apparently pregnant. It looks like the story will be more dramatic than the first season as the mutants struggle to deal with the

Speaking to TV Line, showrunner Matt Nix talked about his desire to explore the 7/15 incident in the upcoming season:

What exactly happened there is certainly one of the central questions of the series ... It's a bigger deal than that, linked as it is to the disappearance of the X-Men and the Brotherhood, the creation of the Mutant Underground and the attempted rebuilding of the Hellfire Club…. It's kind of at the center of everything we're doing.

The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind and Skyler Samuels were on hand during the panel talk.

The show is executive produced by Matt Nix and Jeph Loeb.

The Gifted returns September 25 on Fox.
