The Flash: Wonder Woman v Aquaman Rumor Debunked

It's been said that the Flash movie will be taking influence from the Flashpoint Paradox, so it would make sense that the film could feature a clash between Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Rumors have been spreading around about it, but apparently they are false.

This was confirmed by The Wrap's Umberto Gonzalez:

In the comics, Barry Allen somehow creates an alternate universe where the Atlanteans were at war with the Amazons; with Aquaman sinking Europe and Wonder Woman taking over the UK. The movie is said to have a smaller version of the altered timeline, so maybe some things will change, but we won't have anything as dire as a war between the two hidden kingdoms.

If anything, I would be happy with just some small cameos. Maybe we can have Gal Gadot appear as a queen on the television or Jason Momoa visiting a talk show, anything that would give us a connection to the DCEU while giving us a little exposition. Heck, I would be happy just to see the back of a malnourished Kal-El that's been imprisoned by the government.

For now, all we can really do is imagine what's in store for The Flash. With the movie set to come out in 2022, it will be a while before we get our first look. I'd imagine it would release at SDCC 2021, but I would be happy to get something this July as well.

For now, The Flash is set to hit theaters July 1, 2022.
