When it comes to the Scarlet Speedster, almost anything is possible with the storyline for The Flash series. And even if the previous issue was caused by Barry Allen traveling to the past to undo some decisions and actions, in the upcoming episode The Once and Future Flash, we'll be seeing him zipping into the future to land in a time where Iris is dead.
A new promo has been released, which touches on a truth that will hurt our speedster hero. Then again, those who have been following the series won't really be surprised. We get a glimpse of Killer Frost in her fully white hair, blue lips glory. While we don't think that she will be the main villain when season four arrives, it looks like Caitlin Snow's alter-ego will be staying for a while as her icy self.
More importantly, the promo also gives a glimpse of what The Flash's new costume will look like. The new The Flash suit still obviously bears a lot of similarities to Barry's old one as far as color schemes go.
But looking closely, it looks a lot more in sync with the traditional suit that The Flash blazes in the comics. Maybe this is part of Barry's evolution as well, because after all, he is still pretty young before he comes cross the 2024 version of himself.
The Flash airs Tuesdays on THE CW at 8 pm. This awaited episode will air on April 25.
