2023 would have marked the 10th anniversary of the SnyderVerse but in cruel irony, this year also marks the official end of what we know as the "DC Extended Universe" before it gets revamped under James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Although he's no longer involved in the franchise's creative direction, Zack Snyder still supports the universe he helped create and is looking forward to seeing what Gunn and Safran have in store for DC diehards.

However, the question on everyone's mind is, does Zack Snyder have actual plans of seeing The Flash? Andy Muschietti is quite hopeful that the beloved filmmaker will go out of his way to see what's being described as one of the best superhero films ever.

Speaking with CinemaBlend, Muschietti discussed the DCU film's significance and how it actually honors Snyder's contributions to the franchise. When asked if he had the opportunity to show it to the Justice League filmmaker, Muschietti said that while he hasn't, he's hopeful Snyder will actually see it.

Muschietti said: "I would love Zack to watch this movie. I think we honored the part of the movie that he created in terms of characters and characterizations. And cast. So, I think he would enjoy it."

Despite being relieved from his DCEU duties a long time ago, Snyder has proven that he has no bad blood with the people in charge, at least the current WB Discovery executives at the helm so I'm guessing he'd be more than willing to see the film, especially considering he was among the people responsible for bringing Ezra to the franchise.

I also understand where Muschietti is coming from because getting Snyder's stamp of approval would mean a lot not only for the film but for the franchise's future in general. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

DC's The Flash is slated to hit cinemas on June 16.
