The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Star Sebastian Stan Teases Possible Non-MCU Role

There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to seeing Bucky Barnes' return in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. However, it looks like Sebastian Stan already has his eye on a new major role that isn't related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Interestingly, it could put Stan on the same level as screen legends like Bela Lugosi and Gary Oldman.

Stan recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter where he was praised for his performance in the 2018 crime film Destroyer, which was directed by Karyn Kusama. In the interview, it was mentioned that the filmmaker has already been confirmed to work on the new Dracula adaptation and Stan revealed that he has already asked Kusama if he could be part of the project.

"I already emailed her about that. I said, 'You know I'm from Romania, right?' and she goes, 'Yes, yes, it's very early — and there's a pandemic. Hopefully, we'll see you in four years,'" Stan said with a laugh.

Although he didn't confirm it, it sounds like Stan is already being considered for a lead role in Kusama's Dracula. After all, the only character in the Bram Stoker novel who is from Romania is also that legendary vampire, right? If all things go well after Stan is done with his new Disney+ series, we're hoping to get an update on him becoming the next Dracula.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on Disney+ by August.
