The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Releases Breathtaking New Clip

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is bringing fans back to familiar territory as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will undoubtedly deliver all the high octane action we have been craving to see for quite a while. Now, I don't know whether it was intentional or not at all but the upcoming Disney+ series which serves as the MCU's follow-up to WandaVision seems to be staying consistent with the Captain America trilogy's overall theme which is a good thing.

The series will revolve around Sam Wilson's quest to become the next and "official" Captain America after Steve Rogers relinquished the role in Avengers: Endgame. And judging by the stuff we've seen from the teasers so far, it seems like The Falcon has a renewed confidence and it's quite evident with the way he talks and carries himself.

Anthony Mackie recently appeared on Good Morning America to hype up the arrival of the show this Friday and he even gave fans a sneak peek at one of the scenes we can expect to see from the series. In the said clip, Sam Wilson is gearing up for a mission to stop the villains who hijacked a plane from heading into foreign airspace. Check out the breathtaking scene here:

While Sam was given the unenviable task of becoming Rogers' successor, there's no doubt that he's up for the challenge, and quite frankly, he's long been ready to take over. I'm glad that he's no longer going to live under the original Captain America's shadow and he gets to show everyone just exactly what he brings to the table. Of course, his journey won't be an easy one but I'm sure when we finally see him as the new Cap, it will all feel so rewarding.


Consisting of six episodes, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will begin streaming this Friday, March 19 only on Disney+.
