The Falcon and The Winter Soldier may see the light of day again after the first season airs on Disney+ as Marvel President Kevin Feige claims that the second season of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is one belonging to the "spoiler realm."

After Marvel Boss Kevin Feige said that there are some series that have a possibility of having another season with some being developed with plans for multiple seasons, likely, the latest canon series of the MCU, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier could be one of those.

As regards the series and movies docketed in the fourth phase of the MCU, while some are standalone or connected to the Avengers: Endgame or preparatory to the future MCU titles, when asked about the future of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Feige says that the answer would be part of the "spoiler realm" as he calls it, and he adds that there is a future planned out for the characters of the series.

The head writer of the show, Malcolm Spellman, says that various Marvel titles are directly tied to what will be happening in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier just like how WandaVision sets up the events in the upcoming sequel of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Spellman hinted that he could think of three shows where The Falcon And The Winter Soldier could be tied up with.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will be reprising their roles as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier, and they would be joined by Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter. Newcomers include Wyatt Russel as John Walker, Erin Kellyman, Danny Ramirez, and more.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will be taking place after the events of Avengers: Endgame where old-man Captain America/ Steve Rogers passes on his shield to Sam Wilson to be the successor of the title and Sam still feels like the shield belongs to someone else.

Kari Skogland, director of the series, says that Sam will have to come to terms with what has been given to him and he would be deciding on how he would be wielding the shield together with what lies ahead of it. Bucky would also be sharing the same sentiment, too.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier premieres on March 19, 2021, at 3 AM EST on Disney+.
