Warning: if you haven't seen the finale episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, this article contains major spoilers so read at your own risk! The finale episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was home to a lot of jaw-dropping moments and it pretty much solidified that Phase 4 will be nothing short of wild. Episode 6 made a double revelation about fan-favorite character Sharon Carter and while the confirmation that she's actually the Power Broker isn't all that surprising, the finale's cliffhanger which revealed another major twist will leave a lot of you stunned.

During the credits scene for Episode 6, Sharon finally got the justice she's been seeking all these years as the U.S. government assured her that they are going to "set things right" with the former CIA agent who has been living in Madripoor for quite some time now. Not only did the senator offer Carter a full pardon, but she was also given a position in her old division as the returning Agent Carter, an offer that she certainly didn't refuse.

Moments later, we see Sharon speaking to a mysterious person on the phone where they talked about gaining full access to government secrets, prototype weapons, and "something for everyone". Of course, judging by her demeanor, it doesn't take a genius to realize that Carter is onto something and she obviously has her sights set on infiltrating the U.S. government.

It's worth noting that her identity as the Power Broker remains confidential and with the Flag Smashers gone, we don't know for sure which people exactly are aware of her deepest, darkest secrets. It's crystal clear that Sharon will be playing a major role as a villain in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but the real question is, what does it mean for her relationship with her former allies Bucky Barnes and the new Captain America Sam Wilson? I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out.
