The Falcon and The Winter Soldier had an awesome premiere featuring an epic showdown between Georges Batroc and Sam Wilson. But is there any chance we'll see Batroc the Leaper in action again soon? Georges St-Pierre has just revealed that Batroc and Sam are set for a rematch.
In the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Sam is sent to stop a plane hijacking in Tunisia. It is revealed that the terrorist group is led by Batroc, who then engages Sam in a fight. The duel ultimately concludes with Batroc escaping but St-Pierre assures fans that we haven't seen the last of him.
St-Pierre recently spoke to ET Canada where he confirmed that he appears in the first episode alone. However, the MMA star teased that Batroc is ready for Round 2 with Sam.
The only thing I can say now — if I can say something to the Falcon — from now on, my brigade and I will be ready for you," St-Pierre said. "We'll make sure you don't get that lucky ever again, my friend."
This sounds promising considering that Batroc did an awesome job messing up Sam in New World Order. Although we'd hate to see Sam getting beat up by the villain, seeing Batroc in action again would be amazing for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
For now, it is unclear how many episodes Batroc will appear in. Hopefully, he'll be back in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 3.
