There is little doubt that all of the new characters who have been introduced in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are awesome in their own ways. However, Malcolm Spellman says there's someone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series who could work together with the God of Thunder. The showrunner teased on the arrival of a new hero who could partner up with Chris Hemsworth's Thor.

Spellman, who also serves as head writer on the Disney+ show, recently spoke to Rotten Tomatoes TV where he was asked about his dream MCU pairings. Interestingly, the showrunner took this as a moment to share how one character from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier could be the perfect partner for Thor.

"There are characters in our series who I would love to see partnered with like - it's a very, very grounded character - partnered with one of the big world-shakers like Thor or someone like that," Spellman said. He then added that we haven't seen this character just yet.

"The personality is so strong, it's an Episode 5 character. I'd love to see that character with Thor," Spellman stated.

That sounds interesting considering that Thor has paired up with some of the coolest characters in the MCU. In addition to being an excellent partner to his own brother Loki and to the sweet rabbit Rocket Raccoon, the God of Thunder is someone who would get along well with anyone. Needless to say, we're curious about this new character.

We'd love to know more about Spellman's mystery character soon but we will need to wait a little longer to meet them. After all, The Falcon and The Winter Soldieris only on its second episode so we have to watch two more episodes before we see this new individual. Nevertheless, we're hoping they'll be worth the wait.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2 is now available for streaming on Disney+. The third episode is scheduled to premiere on April 2.
