For those waiting for the English dub, here’s some good news. Crunchyroll announced the English dub cast and release for The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! sequel anime.
This sequel aired just a year after the premiere of the second season. Because of this, it’s no surprise that the main dub cast from Season 2 has returned to voice their respective characters.
While the title is a bit confusing, this new season is effectively Season 3 for the hilarious reverse isekai show.
The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! Sequel: Effectively Season 3
The Devil Is a Part-Timer! has long been a popular show not only because it’s an interesting twist on the isekai genre, but also because it has become a go-to example of anime that deserves a sequel.
Finally, the anime returned last year with its second season. Unlike the first season, this new entry in the series quickly got a sequel announcement.
This sequel reveal is a bit confusing though. Instead of being called Season 3, it is instead simply billed as the sequel to The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! (the two exclamation marks represent the fact that it is Season 2).
The nearly year-long gap between the second season and its sequel sort of disqualifies it from being a two-cour show. But whether you think it’s Season 3 or not, what’s certain is that it picks up right where Season 2 ended.

Crunchyroll Announces The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Season 3 English Dub Cast
In this new season, the voice actors from Season 2 have returned. The main English dub cast includes:
- Jessie James Grelle (Armin in Attack on Titan) as Maou
- Felecia Angelle (Toru Hagakure in My Hero Academia) as Emi
- Anthony Bowling (Franky in Spy x Family) as Ashiya
- Tia Ballard (Mimihime in Heavenly Delusion) as Chiho
- Alex Moore (Agnese in A Certain Magical Index) as Suzuno
- Sarah Wiedenheft (Tohru in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as Alas Ramus
Meanwhile, here are the supporting dub cast members:
- Caitlin Glass (Winry in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as Kisaki
- Morgan Lauré (Meg Kataoka in Assassination Classroom) as Lailah
- Alexis Tipton (Lupusregina Beta in Overlord) as Rika
- Cynthia Cranz (Chi-Chi in Dragon Ball) as Mika
- R. Bruce Elliott (Dot Pyxis in Attack on Titan) as the Narrator
Unlike other anime which get dub releases only after a month or more, this series is only delayed by a couple of weeks from its Japanese release – great news for those who don’t want to get spoiled.
The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Season 3’s English dub premiered on Crunchyroll yesterday, July 27.
New episodes will be streamed every Thursday on the platform.
