The Detective Is Already Dead and we might even find out why within the next few episodes - at least we hope so. While Tantei wa mo Shindeiru has disappointed some fans due to the relatively underwhelming mysteries and unnecessary harem elements but by Episode 6, things are at least coming together.

Some plot threads finally make it into the lengthy flashback with Siesta and Kimizuka, bringing together almost disjointed episodes, causing us to wonder why present Kimi hasn't made the connection yet - or has he?

If you can't wait to find out, we got you covered. Below, you will find our handy guide to The Detective Is Already Dead Episode 7 including its release date and time in different timezones.

The Detective Is Already Dead Episode 6Recap

Warning: Spoilers for The Detective Is Already Dead Episode 6 below!

While I'd like this relationship to be a bit more well-developed and truly break my heart, you can't doubt that Siesta cares about Kimizuka. Their declarations of care about one another are a bit cheesy, but you can why Kimi was so devastated to lose her.

As the fight with Hel continues, it's revealed that she has a partner, Chameleon, but both villains are out of Siesta's reach for the moment. While the main duo seems ok for the moment, Siesta is injured, meaning that they have to pause their detective activities for a bit.

On his way back from grocery shopping, Kimizuka encounters Alicia, a young amnesiac girl who dresses like an Alice in Wonderland character and insists she's older than she looks. Siesta decides to take up her case and help her find her true identity - but only if Alicia is willing to do the detective work herself.

Meanwhile, Fuubi informs Siesta and Kimi that Cerberus has stricken again... and the monster is somehow connected with a blue sapphire eye. This takes us back to Episodes 3 and 4, where Yui's heirloom was a device associated with, and wanted by SPES. Why didn't Kimizuka immediately made the connection two episodes prior, however? And what about Hel's uncanny resemblance with Nagisa?

I can't help thinking that some important clues are still withheld. Let's hope episode 7 will have answers!
