The Curse of La Llorona has Released an Avengers: Endgame-Inspired Poster

Avengers: Endgame is set to come out this weekend, and everyone is ready for the film to decimate the competition like Thanos did with half of the universe. Horror movie The Cure of La Llorona has the unfortunate fate of having to be out as the same time as Endgame, but the marketing team has a sense of humor when it comes to receiving its competition.

Check out this Endgame-inspired poster for The Curse of La Llorona:

Admittedly comic book movies aren't for everyone, and La Llorona will be there for anyone who wants to watch something more suspenseful. If horror isn't your thing though, I suggest you check out the Hellboy reboot which I think was a good bit of fun and was unfairly bashed by the critics.

Going back to La Llorona though, I think it's fun that a horror film would have a sense of humor about itself. It's no mystery that Avengers will be getting all of the attention this weekend, and I guess there's really nothing to do but ride the wave.

Did I also forget to mention that Linda Cardellini, who plays the mom in this movie, also plays Hawkeye's wife in Avengers: Endgame?

Here's the synopsis for The Curse of La Llorona:

Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, a social worker and her own small kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope to survive La Llorona's deadly wrath may be a disillusioned priest and the mysticism he practices to keep evil at bay, on the fringes where fear and faith collide.

The Curse of La Llorona is now out in theaters.
