The Clone Wars Could Help Clear Major Star Wars Mystery Tying In With Baby Yoda

There's a lot of excitement over the next few episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Approaching the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, the series is going to explore the fall of the Jedi and the issuance of Order 66.

While Revenge of the Sith has a montage featuring some key Jedi that dies at the hands of the Clones thanks to Order 66, the movie has left fans wondering about the fate of one particular member of the Jedi council: Jedi Master Yaddle.

The same species as Yoda, Yaddle was seen sitting in the Jedi Council in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. The Revenge of the Sith never really featured Yaddle's death.

Now, it seems like Lucasfilm finally has the opportunity to give fans the closure that they need by featuring Yaddle's fate in the finale of The Clone Wars. Sure, Yaddle might have stepped back from her leadership position among the Jedi early on in the prequel trilogy, however, Inverse believes that The Clone Wars could explore the character's status after Order 66.

Star Wars needs to clear Yaddle's fate, not only to satisfy the Star Wars fanbase but to help add texture to Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Sure, The Mandalorian might take place years after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, but ever since the series aired, there's been speculation that Yaddle might actually be Baby Yoda's mother. That, or she had something to do with the Child.

We hope that The Clone Wars helps clear that up.
