The Book of Boba Fett New Photo Reveals Deadly Weapon Used Against Fennec Shand

If you've seen the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett, you were probably worried about the former bounty hunter and his companion as they were surrounded by a group of aggressive soldiers. There's a good reason for all that concern. A new behind-the-scenes photo gives us a better look at the deadly weapon that the soldiers were using against Boba and Fennec Shand.

The latest issue of Empire is going to focus on The Book of Boba Fett and that means new details about the highly anticipated Star Wars series. The feature on the show reveals some new photos including a behind-the-scenes look at director Robert Rodriguez demonstrating how the weapon should be used. Check it out here.

The scene is clearly the same one featured in the trailer and if Rodriguez feels the need to swing the weapon around, there's a huge chance we'll be seeing an awesome fight here. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Boba Fett and Fennec Shand taking on these soldiers this December.

Rodriguez also assured Empire that Boba will not hesitate to open a can of whoop-ass on anyone who crosses him. “We’ll see a lot more of his true character in this season,” the filmmaker said. “And you’ll definitely see him have to turn ‘barbarian mode’.”

That's exactly what we wanted to hear. Although it was nice to see Boba playing well with others in The Mandalorian Season 2, we're looking forward to seeing him in full-action mode again next month.

The Book of Boba Fett will bring back Temuera Morrison as the titular character and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The series will also introduce Jennifer Beals as a mysterious Twi'lek who could play a major role on Tatooine. Get ready for the premiere on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
