It has been a long wait but the final episode of The Book of Boba Fett is finally here. Chapter Seven certainly brought us an epic battle between the new Daimyo and the Pyke Syndicate. In addition to that, we got an awesome tease at what to look forward to in The Mandalorian Season 3! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7, Fett's forces continued to patrol Mos Espa as Cad Bane and the Pykes plan their attack. Meanwhile, R2-D2 arrives at Peli Motto's hangar with an adorable passenger. However, danger awaits Fett, Din Djarin, and Fennec Shand as they find themselves having to work together once again to defeat a major threat.
Bane and the Pykes confront Fett, Djarin, and Shand outside the Sanctuary while the other crime families betray the Daimyo and attack his guards. Shand sets off to help the cyborgs while Fett and Djarin confront Mok Shaiz's majordomo, ordering him to negotiate with the Pykes. Amidst all this, the two are forced to fight off their enemies until they are outnumbered.
Luckily, help is on the way. Freetown's citizens arrive along with the cyborgs who rescue them but the Pykes still have another weapon against them. This leads to Djarin and Grogu working with Fett's rancor to dispose of the droids but the rancor is scared off by Bane.
This leads to a standoff between Bane and Fett, who loses the gun duel. However, he quickly takes Bane down using his gaffi stick. As Grogu calms the rancor down, the battle finally ends.
There is little doubt that fans were expecting another major villain to appear in The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 but that simply is not the case. Either way, it's a cool way to end the current storyline and hype up the next Star Wars show later this year.
The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 is titled Chapter Seven: In The Name of Honor. The season finale is now streaming on Disney+.
