There's still a lot to unpack from the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett because of the sheer number of Easter eggs packed into Episode 2. However, nostalgia isn't the only thing that Chapter Two: The Tribes of Tatooine had to offer for fans. The flashback sequence in the episode may have dropped a clue as to who the real main villain is in the new Star Wars series and it's someone we already met in the films! SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2, we are brought back to the time where the former bounty hunter was slowly being accepted by the Tusken Raiders who found him after he escaped the Sarlacc pit. Fett is taught how to fight with the gaffi stick and it is revealed that the tribe is being terrorized by a mysterious train. He decides it's time to get rid of the menace and helps the Tusken Raiders take down the strange convoy.

When they finally manage to stop the train, Fett and the Raiders discover that it has been transporting spice for the Pyke Syndicate. And although this part of the story happens in the past, it is believed that this particular revelation is connected to the present where Fett is being challenged as the new Daimyo.

But who could it be that has been controlling the Pykes on Tatooine? There are speculations that Crimson Dawn still plays a major role in the criminal underworld and is headed by none other than Qi'ra.

We all know that Qi'ra got a promotion in Solo: A Star Wars Story after the death of Dryden Vos and would now be working closely with Maul. With the former Sith Lord finally dead, is Qi'ra the one in control of Crimson Dawn? We'll be needing more hints on the character's involvement in The Book of Boba Fett. Perhaps we'll see this in the next episode.

The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
